Live healthy in ‘Szansa’

On 15th March in the Community Centre ‘Szansa’ in Kowala some workshops about health food in Profilactic program ‘Live Healthy’, which has been realised from February to June 2013 in out institution was held. In cooperation with State Health Care Centre in Kowala, Ms Iwona Różkowska who works there as a nurse led the workshops for children.

Thanks to her we could learn about proteins, carbohydrates, fat, and mineral elements and their functions in human body. They are necessary for correct working of the organism. We were given information about what products should be eaten to differentiate our everyday diet, and also good condition of our organism. We have known basic rules about healthy food:

 - heating 4-5 meals a Day, without any snack

-drinking a lot of water

-thoroughly chewing food and eating not in a rush

-replacing sweets by fruit

-avoiding fast foods

These workshops weren`t the first in the project. We had a chance to make a vegetable salad by ourselves, to plant early vegetables or to check our physical condition during sport activities.
