‘Rely on family 2013!’
In 2013 Kowala commune once again joined to the campaign ‘Rely on family!’. Posters like: ‘Family- the warmest place in the world’ were hung in the kindergarten, schools from commune area, common centre, library, social welfare centre in January.
The meeting with schools` directors in the County Office in Kowala started the campaign. They talked about the character of cooperation between educational institutions and social welfare centre about each activity. Directors also got guide-books for teaching staff about ‘What is the inter-generational solidarity?’
In February Social Welfare Centre workers took part in a celebration organized by Primary School named after Janusz Korczak in Kowala, because of Grandmother`s and Grandfather`s Day, where they showed a presentation ‘Irreplaceable grandparents’, also distributed leaflets ‘Go fishing with grandfather’, ‘Generations solidarity’ ‘From generation to generation’.
These leaflets were also distributed in Primary School named after Maria Konopnicka in Mazowszany, Primary School named after Kornel Makuszyński in Młodocin Mniejszy and State Kindergarten in Kowala.
March/April

13TH JUNE- PROPHYLACTIC OUTDOOR PARTY
-organizing a competition ‘My family’ for families taking part in prophylactic outdoor party in Kończyce-Kolonia
17th-18th AUGUST
-Outdoor party in Kowala- creating Family zone (plays and manual games for the whole families)
SEPTEMBER/NOVEMBER
-prophylactic workshops for primary schools` pupils. A lecture, leaflets distribution: ‘Helping hand’, ‘Do you know who can help you?’
OCTOBER
- prophylactic workshops for higher junior schools` students. A lecture, leaflets distribution: ‘Generation closed together’, ‘Strong when we are together’
- A meeting ‘Family – the warmest place in the world’
-Priest Dziewiecki`s lecture, testimony of marriage sobriety from Crusade of Releasing a Human’- part 1
-girls` show from the Centre in Wierzbica, and Manhattan band`s show- part 2
DECEMBER
-handing in certificates for co-authors of the campaign, ‘A Teacher friendly to family’
In the campaign ‘Rely on family!’ local community will be systematically informed about organized activities through placing appropriate information on the County Office`s website and the Local Social Welfare Centre`s website.
