Almost like a gladiator

 On the 6th February, we went to the cinema to watch a fairy tale ‘Almost like a gladiator’. We planned to eat pizza together and take part in cooking workshops organized by Helios cinema called ‘Owocowe soplaki’. At the beginning of our trip we went to eat pizza to the nearest restaurant. We spent there some time waiting for a movie. In the climate of old courtly interior surrounded by many pictures and old remembrances. We were curious how old the restaurant is, but it appeared to be only stylized in old times climate, and was recently opened.

 When we finished the meal we went to see the story about little Tino, who after volcano eruption in Pompeii was rescued by general Chiron, the founder of the well-known school for gladiators. The boy was growing up among brave youngsters, who were dreaming about big career. However, Tino didn`t have such ambitions and he didn`t care about being a bit overweight and not being fit. But everything changed because of a girl. To get her heart he had to fight with the biggest warriors and to win the a prestige competition organized in famous Colosseum.

Just after watching the movie we started our cooking workshops, which were in the cinema building. We made lollipops from fruit and products which we had to guess by taste (almonds, sunflower seeds and sesame). The whole secret was in brown sugar, which we used to sprinkle fruit. The caramel was made by melting brown sugar with the burner. We learnt that even lollipops like these could be healthy. Only a little bit of imagination and feeling like doing something is needed.
