Words of the Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz from his open letter to social workers in occasion of their feast were mentioned :

No one else but social worker is able to change human suffering and helplessness into strength and ability to self-determination by his obstinacy, involvement and kindness, to believe those people, who are not believed by others, and to give hope to them, who lost it. Not everybody is aware of fact that Your job is not finished in moment of the closing customer’s door or closing the sheet of the family community interview, that you have to carry vastness of the human misery for a long time often enough. Hardly anyone knows that this job encumbers like any other, is connected with undescribed responsibility for other person’s fate, who often doesn’t want to cooperate and take action approaching to change their situation without appropriate motivation.

Exploit the opportunity, I would like to tender warmest acknowledgements to all social service  workers for their involvement and care about other people’s fate, who are often lonely, suffering and lost and thereby hopeless.

Meeting was graced by concert of songs performed by Ms Angelika Kwiecień and performance of folk dance group. It didn’t run short of humoristic element in the shape of sketch performed by representative of Senior Club. Lastly, the sweet meal waited for our kind guests.
